“Our deepest
fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that
we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our
darkness, that most frightens us.”
–Marianne Williamson

Jean is Co-Director of the Bread of Life along with Sandra Lommasson. Along with sharing administrative oversight, much of her work is listening for ways to meet the needs and desires of the people who grace the Center as paid and unpaid staff, volunteers, program participants and the people yet to come. She is our primary networker in the community listening for challenges and opportunities and speaking to the offerings and dreams of Bread of Life.
Jean is also a facilitator and trainer in the Path of Contemplative Dialogue for leaders seeking to foster an organizational climate that free individuals to engage each other with integrity and creativity. Some of her work involves one-to-one mentoring with practitioners of Contemplative Dialogue. Some involves work with business, government, non-profit, faith-based and informal groups seeking more efficient and effective communication. Jean has traveled throughout the US and Canada providing this service.
Her latest adventure has been developing the Spirit Print team and program. The dream of this printing business is to provide an outreach to local youth by employing them and providing them with adult mentors while providing quality print products at competitive prices. We see the proceeds from the business ensuring we can offer creative and spiritual programs for all regardless of their ability to pay. Jean is committed to running this business in a way that honors the mission of Bread of Life and the individuals who work here as paid and unpaid staff.
