Looking for a place to learn to sew? Longing for a circle of friends to sit with while you work on your own projects? This is the group for you! This circle is for beginning to intermediate skill levels, men & women alike, who would like to sew together. You can bring your own project, or learn to make a handy tote bag. You will share the machines we have here unless you bring your own sewing machine.
- Celebrating Goodness: An Introduction to Celtic Spirituality
Saturday October 16, 2010 **

There’s an old saying, “We become what we gaze at.” The Celtic way is to intentionally focus on the presence of goodness that flows naturally from a good God who makes a good creation and blesses our personhood as good. What a difference it makes in our lives and world to notice and respond to that goodness – EVERYWHERE! Celebrating Goodness is a mini-retreat exploring Celtic spirituality. Over five hours we will share stories of Jesus from the Gospel of John, create visual expressions of the “good life with God,” and develop a personal practice to help us embrace God’s goodness in our everyday lives.
**There will also be an 8 week small group experience Wednesday evenings in Davis beginning September 15 on this topic. Call Ron at 530-753-5800 if you are interested in this option.
